Choose AI video effects that fit the story in your photo
AI video effects describe ways a still photo could become a moving scene, from a hug to a changing camera view. Rap Duo lets you explore effect choices and prepare photo references. Select the idea, add the pictures and save a draft. Live effect generation and downloadable results are not available yet.
1Add two photos โ one person each
One photo is enough for an effect: a solo shot, or the two of you.
2Pick an effect
3Pick quality & length
Draft only. No video is rendered and no credits are spent.
Only choose photos you have permission to use. Review the photo and account terms.
Compare photo effects by the motion they need
Start with the action rather than the effect's name. A hug needs two characters to approach and interact. A clone idea needs repeated versions of one subject. An Earth zoom out needs a camera move that keeps the starting photo recognizable before showing a wider setting. These are different visual problems, even when they all begin with a portrait.
The workspace presents several effect choices, including scenes built around celebration, transformation and unusual surroundings. Use the displayed references to understand the direction, then ask whether your photo supports it. A small face in a crowded image may be a weak starting point for a character-focused idea. AI video effects are easier to plan when the subject, intended motion and viewing format agree. The current references do not prove that every selectable effect can render your particular picture.
Prepare an image that leaves room for the scene
Check the photo's subject, crop and background before adding it. If the idea needs movement around a person, a tightly cropped face may leave you unable to describe the body or surroundings. If the idea is about two people, confirm that both can be identified clearly. Use a reference that communicates the starting situation rather than asking an effect to repair an unclear image.
Think about the frame too. A phone-oriented composition can emphasize a single subject, while a wider idea can make the setting part of the story. Save those preferences with the photo draft, but keep the original file outside the browser. Selecting AI video effects does not currently create missing scenery, animate the subject or verify a final resolution. The draft is a planning record, and the displayed scene remains a visual reference instead of a result from your upload.
Review effect availability before planning an export
An effect menu shows the ideas the interface allows you to explore. A usable production feature also needs a working render, a result you can inspect and an export you can open elsewhere. Check all three before promising a video for an event or public post. A dramatic example should not substitute for a test with your own permitted material.
Rap Duo's current AI video effects page saves local drafts and does not submit a live rendering job. There is no finished file to download from this flow. You can still use the dedicated hug, clone and zoom pages to prepare better references and understand the motion each concept requires. If you need an effect today, choose another available editor or generator only after checking its actual input support, export options and cost for the specific task.
AI video effects: questions
Can I apply AI video effects to a photo right now?
You can select an effect concept and prepare the photo draft on Rap Duo, but live rendering is not available in the current workspace. The save action does not animate the image or provide a download. Use the scene references to plan, then verify an available production workflow before expecting a finished clip.
Are these photo effects live camera filters?
This workspace uses selected image files rather than a live camera feed. It does not install a filter in another app or connect to a social platform's camera. The effect choices help you describe a scene concept, and the current local draft remains separate from any recorded or published video.
How should I choose between a hug, clone and zoom effect?
Choose the action that fits the picture and occasion. A hug centres on a relationship between two people, clones on repeated versions of a subject, and a zoom on the surrounding view. Begin with that purpose, then prepare clear references. Do not choose an effect solely because its example looks more dramatic.
