A funny birthday video they'll replay
Funny birthday videos usually mean a stock clip with their name pasted in. This one stars the birthday person themselves: their face, on stage, rapping a roast about them with you. It's the video that gets replayed at the party and screenshotted in the group chat.
How to make it
- Add the photos. The birthday person and you — or one photo of the two of you.
- Write the joke. One line with a name and a detail: "Mia turns 30, still thinks 10pm is late".
- Pick a stage. The orange Hotel Lobby stage is the viral one; the street cypher makes any roast sound harder.
- Make it and send it. About 2–3 minutes later, download the MP4 and drop it in the chat.
Funny birthday roast ideas
- The cook: "Tom turns 35 and still burns toast"
- The late one: "happy birthday to Sara, arriving at her own party an hour late"
- The gym: "Mike turns 40, gym membership still unopened"
- The dad: "Dad turns 65, same three jokes, still laughing at all of them"
- The group chat: "Jess turns 28 and still leaves us on read"
- The plant parent: "Leo turns 30, twelve plants, zero alive"
The best jokes are specific and affectionate — one detail everyone recognizes.
Why this beats a card or a meme
- It's them on screen, not a cartoon with their name.
- It's written for them: the rap is about their story, in their language.
- It travels: a short vertical video is made for WhatsApp, stories and TikTok.
